Lone Star Speech & Debate
Weekly on Wednesday in the Fellowship Hall, 2:00 – 4:30pm.
Christ Church Rockwall is supporting the weekly meetings of the Lone Star Speech & Debate Club in our Fellowship Hall. Lone Star Speech & Debate is a formal speech and debate club that equips homeschool students with analytical, rhetorical and leadership skills, while also addressing life issues from a Christian worldview in a manner that glorifies God. The club meets weekly throughout the school year for instruction and practice. Check the calendar for specific dates.
Christ & Culture Event
Join us for a Christ & Culture event for our youth in the Fellowship Hall. Pizza will be provided as we watch a video series on the reliability of the Bible. This is a wonderful opportunity for the youth of our parish to fellowship with one another and know how to defend their Christian faith in contemporary culture.
Christ Church Rockwall Country Dance!
Teens, College Students and Young Adults… (of course their families are welcome!)
Join us to learn Classic 2-Step, 2-Step Swing, Line Dances, and Group Dances (like the Virginia Reel and Flying Scotsman). We will teach multiple spins and dips with each genre. Line Dances will be country and contemporary music choices. Dances are led by a caller and are very easy, even for beginners.
Cost is $5 per person or $10 per family, cash at the door. All proceeds will be donated to Lone Star Speech & Debate. Bring non-alcoholic drinks to share! All are welcome!
